Shame On Me
------------
Beautiful woman standing by my side
Feelings I feel I too often hide
If I haven’t told you just how much you mean to me
If I haven’t moved heaven and earth just to make you see
Then shame on me, you deserved it
Beautiful woman, please try and understand
Being open isn’t always the easiest thing at hand
But If I haven’t held you the way you wanted to be held
If I haven’t placed you high within the clouds
Then shame on me, you deserved it
Beautiful woman whose smile makes me see
That this isn’t how I no longer want to be
If I haven’t made love to you a million times then one
Please know that I’ve only just begun
Shame on me, you deserved it
Beautiful woman, you have made me the luckiest guy
I owe it all to you and here the reason why
You have brought sunshine into my darken life
You have brought happiness when you agreed to me my wife
Shame on me for letting a day go by
Without repeating this until the day I die
Shame on me
