This is for the world to know
I'll shout it into the wind
I can say "I love you"
And it doesn't matter
Because she was here and now she's gone
And I don't have to hide so
I'm gonna write "I love you"
Straight across the clear blue sky

This is me and it's my life
So screw you if you disagree
I know who I am and
What they think doesn't matter
Because I love him and he loves me
And I don't have to be so sad
Coz our reason for secrets
Is gone now it doesn't matter

Coz I was here when she was gone
Now all that matters is what we feel
Now we can be happy and
I believe we will be
What gives me strength to fly is knowing
That anytime and anyplace
I'm allowed to be with him
I'll tell him lots how much I love him

I know what he needs because
He needs the same things I do
And I can give it all to him
And I couldn't be happier to
So play the songs that remind me of him
And we'll dance the night away
And for that night, nothing else will matter
All that will is that we're together
