YOU ARE JUST AS SWEET AS THEY COME,
PEOPLE SAY LITTLE GIRLS ARE FEW AND SOME.
BUT AS I RECALL AND THINK BACK TO YOU,
THERE SHE IS SWEETER THAN FEW.
YOUR AS LITTLE AS A SINGLE BUD ROSE.
YOU GOT THE CUTEST BUTTON NOSE.
WHEN YOU GIVE ME THAT PREETIEST SMILE,
MY HEART STRETCHES FOR MILES.
YOU'LL NEVER KNOW HOW MUCH THIS IS TRUE,
EXSPECIALLY WHEN YOU SAY I LOVE YOU,
OR WHEN YOU SIT THERE AND CRY,
CAUSE FOR AWHILE I JUST WANT TO DIE,
YOU'LL NEVER KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE THOSE CURLS,
TO YOU MY PRECIOUS LITTLE BABY GIRL,
YOUR BABY BLUES, MAKES ME SWELL WITH PRIDE
TO YOU AMANDA I PROMISE TO BE YOUR GUIDE.
