Delusion, reality, hoping and wishing.
Desire, craving, yearning, aspiration,
Ambition, trust, faith and anticipation.
Chance, fortune, destiny, disaster,
Is there someone with every answer?
Luck, fate, risk and coincidence,
Trial, tribulation, adversity and brilliance.
Opportunity, occasion, ability, talent,
Sluggish, inactive, quiet and stagnant.

Flowing rivers and wide, wide seas,
The cool pleasure of a summer’s breeze,
The joy of winning a game of cards,
Or reaping a field’s worth of rewards.
The rustling of the wind in the trees,
The feel of grass on my bare feet,
Running free in a flowery meadow,
Climbing a mountain
And exploring an ancient chateau.
Splashing water,
Playing in the mud,
Rolling down a hill,
Refusing to give up my precious childhood.

Listening to my favourite song,
Playing it as loud as it will go,
Stuffing my face with tonnes of sweets,
Drawing pictures on a misty window.
These are the things that I live for,
And try not to forget,
For it is these things that make me what I am,
This childish, naive, loving brunette!
