Fear,
Spreads like wildfire,
Ripping through my veins,
Clawing at my sanity.
Fear,
Sweat pouring off my forehead,
My heart pounding in my chest,
Scratching fingernails down my back.
Fear,
Tears pouring out my eyes,
Shaking and screaming,
Wishing I would die.
Fear,
Boiling up my blood,
Jumping in my temples,
Dizziness flows through me,
I close my eyes.
Fear,
Makes pictures appear before my eyes,
Dancing and twirling,
Beautiful colours in the sky.
Fear,
Makes me react to danger,
Keeps me safe from harm,
With butterflies in my stomach,
And my pulse in my throat.
