i'm stuck but i know it's shallow.
what's in the pit that's making me glued?
is it your attempt to rescue me or
is it the isolation that's keeping me?
i would want for you to fill this room
with your voice... yes, i would.
it'd be a gift.
i would want you to call me and
talk to me genuinely about us and
about what's keeping you to fall for me.
am i not good enough?
my neck is itchy.
there's something in my skin that stings.
i've grown my hair for you,
hoping you'll notice it by the next time
we'll see each other.
i've washed the plates and left them to dry.
beautiful plates especially when they break.
they're sacred.
they're supposed to hide.
what if you're awake?
does being one, assure you that you
aren't really dreaming?
is pinching oneself a proof that
you're not being lied to?
are promises for real or just a gimmick?
how would you know if a mortal
is aware of the words he lets go?
words are, then, really useless.
because, sometimes, you don't have to
say anything just to make me feel good.
coz at those moments, i know in my heart
that you're caring and you're good.
i haven't sat on the floor,
feeling the rough surface and hating the feeling.
i've always thought there's life and warmth in it.
i've always loved the emotion present in me.
i've always loved the trail, however crooked it is.
i haven't taken off my wedding dress and
i wouldn't dare ask if i've lost you.
i just feel your prescence everyday.
and i don't want to let go coz
i want to hold on until i've given all.

but still, i collapse.
