Always did what I was told.
But now I’m full of rage.
And I need to be let out of my cage.
I now think out of the box,
And throw insults and violence like rocks.
Now I’ve grown up,
And I completely feel like I’m stuck.
I’m not perfect any more,
In a couple of years,
I’m walking out that door.
And I’m no longer going to be your little girl.
I’m going to be on my own,
Doing what I wish,
Saying good bye,
And not regretting any of this.
Right now its time for me to be me,
And that’s something that you don’t really see.
You don’t want to let me grow up,
And be who I want.
But that’s something that I have to do,

You said I was a good kid.
Always did what I was told.
But now I’m full of rage.
And I need to be let out of my cage.
I now think out of the box,
And throw insults and violence like rocks.
Now I’ve grown up,
And I completely feel like I’m stuck.

In a couple of years,
I’m walking out that door.
