my conscious screams to grab the line..
but the line is not secure...

The tables have turned, if just for now,
in my favor they currently lay
the world still spins on a broken hinge
and it wont stop today...

It's a hot October...
it's hot, just like the summer...
I see it in your face...
you want to go outside...

lately, it's all been crying
I hope it's nearly over
crying can only last so long
before it gives away...
to something like yesterday...

and we don't want to go backwards so...

and it's been a scorching summer,
just like the last damn winter..
I see it in your face..
you want to close your eyes..

Lately, it's all been blindness
I've tied the wool around you...

Sitting on this broken shelf,
Hovering right above the floor..
