The candle lights the room
The dim light shows her face.

A brush held in her hand
And she continues where she was.

Posters all around the room
Of who she wishes she could be.

All the glamour and the fame.
And her mirror was dropped on the floor.

It took two words
To break her heart.

It took two words to tear her apart.

Little girls, so innocent and pure
How do they change?
And chat about their form?

Her dark brown hair.
Her deep blue eyes.

Her collection of dolls
And barbies.

All gone.

Just trying to fit
So she let her hair grow.

Not all popular
She doesn't know how she glows.

All it took was two lips
Pressed together and a blow.

The candle went out but she could still light the way.
But as she goes further she will stop.
