You held me close,
whispered goodbye,
looking into your eyes
I struggled not to cry.

Slowly you let your hands drop from my waist,
reluctantly I backed away,
but then ran back to hold you,
one last time,
at that moment I'd do anything to stay.

Again you loose your grasp,
I trace my fingers along your face,
we kiss one last time
and leave our sweet embrace.

I turn my way,
you go yours,
but one last time,
though an eternity away,
we look back and wave.

Siloetted against the worlds collide,
one last time we part,
one last time will we each be missed,
one last time we'll miss the other's kiss,
because hopefully this is the last time,
when we turn our seperate ways. You held me close,
