life in perspective

my foundation is crumbling
my truths, a lie
something so wrong, within
confusion, neverending
darkness closing in on me
i'm scared
i promised myself i wouldn't fall again
but there i go
into the rabbit hole
and there, i realised
i'm insignificant
like an ungodly speck of dust
in the universe
my happiness becomes my pain
my death, my joy
i'm not as strong as i thought i was
and i feel helpless
like there's nothing i can do
and nobody else realises it
but we're vulnerable
more defenseless than we realise
no one's invincible
and while love leaves scars covering the soul
lonliness kills more than it saves
I can't live like this
