A Lost Love

I love you with all my heart,
i lay here,
staring into the darkness,
thinking of when you loved me,
when we loved each other,
but those days are gone now...
i have lost your love,
just the chance of your loves redemption is what drives me forward,
the hope to be held by you one more time,
to hear the voice,
to feel your lips on mine,
to look into your eyes,
and feel what i used to...
to be truly happy,
is to be with you,
my love...
for now you are lost,
but i can always search,
for that love,
that once deferred me,
that once assured i had some meaning,
but that love is lost at sea,
i am a lonely sailor searching for the now buried treasure...
your love.
