Make Much of Eternity
Date: Monday, 1st November 2004 @ 08:26:17 PM AEST Topic: Sad Poetry

And if for eternity I had to wait
To see what I became
Then failed did I
For all is vain.
And wait to see what future brought
To listen for the strains of Fate
That never could be sung
Forever would I wait.
To the virgins: make much of time
You don't live long enough
Ash to ash, dust to dust
We're all made of Earthen stuff.
See the sky but build your stairs
No one has much time
Eternity stays for none
Carpe infinitas
