I know I've lost track
But I'm really not so sure
Perhaps it's just a bunch of crap

Right now I'm sad
Beyond belief
I can't perk up
I'm drowning in my own grief

But the next day, I'll be okay
Like nothing happened
There's a smile on my face
And I feel I won't cry again

But I always do
Tears always come
I go beyond the blues
I'll lose the sun

Maybe I'm just sad
In that pathetic kind of way
Maybe if people know I'm down
They just might stay

But I'm always dancing around
And showing off a grin
So no one suspects
My heart is growing dim [comments] => 3 [counter] => 194 [topic] => 48 [informant] => AngryBunny [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry ) Your Poetry Dot Com - The Next Day
