I’ve Dreaded This Day,
It’s here.
The stinging,
hurt of my fear.
She’s gone,
she left me alone.
I don’t know,
if I can go on.

The tears are pouring,
out with pain.
Devastation,
in it’s cruelest form.
Has left misery,
in it’s wake.
All that I’ve dreamed,
is forlorn.

I refuse,
to accept it again.
I’ll never,
let anyone in.
I’ll choke,
on my tears in vain.
I vow,
to be ever alone within.

She was given,
all that I had.
My last chance,
to offer again.
Committed,
to live with myself.
I’ll grow dead,
inside to the end.

What did I do,
to deserve this?
She was the one,
that started with me.
She also chose,
to end it all.
Took my life away,
left me to bleed.

It’s finished,
she just said goodbye.
Left me screaming,
and wanting to go.
Down into,
the deepest depression.
Right off,
the edge of control.

I’ll forever,
regret what I’ve lost.
I had no choice,
don’t you see?
She wouldn’t,
accept my loving.
She’s happier,
now that she’s free.

I don’t think,
she intended to hurt me.
But she must have,
known I was sincere.
Either way,
she completely destroyed me,
I’ve Dreaded This Day,
It’s Here!!!
