“Me, Falling Back To You” - by J. Samuelson Copyright©2001 02/01

I try to take my mind off you
Look for something else to do
But every time, I now still find
Me, Falling Back To You.

What can it be about this?
You’re like completely in me
You’re filling up my future
With everything we could be.

I’m still overwhelmed immensely
This love you have, I never knew
I try, I can’t, it’s still the same
Me, Falling Back To You.

It’s like, I’m living somewhere
A place that has no rules
Where anything is possible
Where I can’t even choose.

It’s just so deeply in my head
I cannot hide the truth
I can’t escape the love I feel
Me, Falling Back To You.

You were there to save me
And lift to my feet
And gave to me your everything
And made me feel complete.

I still try to escape these thoughts
I can’t lie, ‘cause it’s true
But never can I, escape my heart
Me, Falling Back To You.

You’re permanently scarred in me
You’re face etched in my soul
Your eyes they mesmerize me
Now if only I could hold.

I can’t , I can’t, I’m fighting it
I’m lying, that’s the truth
I want to hold you in my arms
Me, Falling Back To You.

The truth is that I love you
It’s all I want and need to do
I know I’ll never stop it now
Me, Falling Back To You.

I’m still lying, I can’t hide it
I’ll do anything, it’s true
Just to let you have it all
Me, Falling Back To You.

I’ve said it now, I mean it
Somehow, you know I had to
There’s nothing else, I want more then
Me, Falling Back To You.
