My Best Friend

My previous best friend,
treated me like dirt,
leaving me with heartache,
leaving me with hurt.
That was until she needed me,
but not you,
you did not.
You are always there,
no matter where I am,
to constantly annoy,
and on rare occasion,
to comfort.
You are my best friend,
and I hope you'll always be,
because without you,
without your love,
I am nothing,
without your guiding hands,
I am lost,
without your seeing eyes,
I am blind,
and without your hearing ears,
I am deaf.
Don't leave me all alone,
to die all by myself.
Remain at my side,
forever,
for always,
my best friend.
