Keep Trying

The road was ending quick.
No other places to retreat.
Moving so fast i could have been sick.
There was nothing left to beat.
I had gone on much too far.
And all of my time was spent.
Stuck motionless in a pit of tar.
What a perfect time to repent.
Nothing could be harder than this.
Where on earth did i lead my life.
Those easy breezy times are what i miss.
My mind is full of questions my heart is full of strife.
But i have to keep on moving on.
And be thankful for what i have here.
Missing things when they are gone.
Instead of loving them while they are near.
Wanting to let everything go and just leave.
But that is much too easy to do.
Doing that just isn't like me.
There's nothing that i can't get through.
If you don't succeed try try again.
Those are such famous words.
Quit thinking about what you could have done then.
Living in the past, it truley hurts.
Keep your head high.
And never say never.
Don't give up keep trying.
Think like this forever.
