Hold On (Sometimes)

Sometimes it feels like I'm standing at the edge of the world, waiting for a gust of wind to blow me away. Like a paper airplane I fly a bumpy, crooked path.
Sometimes it feels like time laughs in my face, taunts me because I rely on it. I'm just standing water without the sands of time to crash upon.
Sometimes I cut my problems away and I wake up with my eyes shut. I'm blind and bleeding but I can still hold on.
Sometimes I feel like letting go, giving up. I just want to fall to the ground and stay in Autumn. Let me break and be walked all over.
Sometimes its like I'm all alone in this overstuffed town. My heart is empty but I'm still weighed down.
Sometimes its just no use trying to be something I'm not. I can never change but I can still hold on.
