False Savior

You watch as
They pushed me around
What has it been,
Two years now?
Bruises will prove
What I’ve been through
And you just stood there
Not sure what to do
I know you want to belong
But maybe I do too
Is it so wrong to think
That I wanted help from you?
And you doing nothing
Is as bad as what they do

I don’t owe you anything
You don’t even really know me
But I know that you looked right through me
Didn’t you know you could have saved me?
When they hurt me you ignored
That they knocked me to the floor
I don’t know what I depended on you for
I guess you were just my false savior

When you read this note
Don’t feel guilty
I’m the one wasting space
The guilty one is me
I’m worthless and stupid
They have every right to hurt me
I guess it’s too late to go back
So I hope you’re happy
Because I’ll waste your space
No more on this earth
You and your friends
Clarified what I’m worth
And you doing nothing
Is as bad as what they do

I don’t owe you anything
You don’t even really know me
But I know that you looked right through me
Didn’t you know you could have saved me?
When they hurt me you ignored
That they knocked me to the floor
I don’t know what I depended on you for
I guess you were just my false savior

They kick me, punch me
And laugh at me
You stand there, watching
Why did you hesitate?

I don’t owe you anything
You don’t even really know me
But I know that you looked right through me
Didn’t you know you could have saved me?
When they hurt me you ignored
That they knocked me to the floor
I don’t know what I depended on you for
I guess you were just my false savior

I hope you've enjoyed reading
This note I scribbled down
Sincerely from,
A nobody lying under the ground
