The Point of No Return

I almost told you
But I’ve changed my mind
You don’t have time
My problems are insignificant
Nothing but a single piece in a jigsaw puzzle
A minor battle in a world war
I’ll accept my defeat
And bow to your feet
Losing my dignity
And stripped of my pride
I’m a slave to the field
Escaping would result only in shame
I’d accept the blame
And return in a feat of tears
To the place
A place
A place of devils and horror
Full of sorrow and regret
Where everyone is sent
Sent to be kept
To lose yourself to the lies
Where you rot in your grave
Never to return
But only to die
