Ok, I've known this guy
For just a week
He's already seen me cry.
The past five years it hasn't happened once
My best friend 'missed the show'
And I showed my weakness to him...
Earlier that day I'd been angry
I was terrified of losing control
He didn't know what was wrong, just knew it was
And that was enough for him.
I was with 4 others when it happened, him included
My back to them all on a seat.
I felt the first tear run down
Hot from it's unwilling release.
He was the only one who noticed
The others discussing 'cute boys'
He came over and hugged me
And didn't let go
As kissed the top of my head softly.
I should've known then that
I'd have a crush, but I think things will get worse
Why of all people
Did I have to choose him
I could lose my new friend in a shot.
