Blind Soldier

A boy submerged in a world of men,
is searching for truth, but let down again.
He throws on a mask to confuse them all,
attempting to run, but he only can crawl.
Next is the sword, to slice and to stab,
the other hand free, to punch and to grab.
On his back is a bow, to attack with range,
his eyes like an eagle's, his thoughts start to change.
Truth is diminished, his former ways drained,
his new focus hate, his shirt that is stained.
Blood runs through his veins, a new found lust,
all of this stemming for a lack of trust.
Propaganda and ignorance, blossoming there-after,
as the body count rises, so does his laughter...
