[bodytext] => In contrast to the prettiness that walks on its own
The ugliness falters when confronted with its own
In a deliberate opposition to the earth's powerful pull
I walk singularly, humming, a provocative tune
In defiance, I have not shaved my face in weeks,
Let someone speak,
Or dare say that I am intellectually weak
Or challenge me to a verbal duel
In which the looser is presented as the fool
Starting with this question;
What is the first thing they teach you in school
Share, your thoughts with me, I beg you to respond
I ask of you peacefully to give me some attention
To ask me my name, or where I'm from
To ask me the same, the same question
That I wish to know, that I die to hear
You say to me, that I am yours, and welcomed
In contrast to the mountains that stands high and firm
My neck dangles, and strangles, loosing air in turn
In a convincing way, the clouds show their intentions
The grayness that overcasts, has ruled out, a dry protection
