Just wanted to let you know that I think the site is GREAT! I had to type the title two times and it did not take. wonderful to see you chrissie! i am doing okay, except my inspiration for writing is muddled at the moment... coming out ever so slowly. no matter, it will come soon enough. i think everyone around here is lost at least a little bit, so not to worry madam. now rosi, that girl... i love her so. she is doing good. in a little less than 2 weeks we will go to a big concert festival out in monteray for the week, so that should be fun.... a whole 8 days with her and me!! <IMG SRC="images/forum/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif">

Hi, lets see, the reason that the poetry would not carry over was that the old site was very customised, and at the time of the server crash, we also lost our programmer. We tried our best to move them, but it would take months to do, as it was to move the active members, took 3 days of manual inputs. The \"members list\" in the menu lists the current authors (I will change this to \"Author and Member lists\" to make it clearer) including those online if you are logged in. You may re submit the poetry from the old site if you wish, but i have a full backup of it now and will place better linking to the old poetry as we progress here. Mick. Mick, I don\'t know if you are interested but I belong to an on line poetry group which is a chapter of The Pennsylvania Poetry Society. It is called Paperless Poets. Each month there is a different exercise posted that we have to do. Then we also have to critique each others poems. Critiquing is a big part of learning to write poetry. You really have to be tough skinned to take some of the critiques, but most of the time some one will help you correct your grammer or sylable count or show you another way to write a line that makes it sound smoother. In Your Poetry I don\'t think to many poets will do a tough critique of poems because of the fear of hurting someones feelings. I am not an expert, and do not claim to write good poetry. But, I have read some really good poems, (very deep & full of great imagery), but they would not make it very far in the world of poetry because of grammer errors, choppy lines, syllable count is off, or they do not stick to the form they started with. As if you don\'t have enough to do; I just thought that somewhere in the future you might consider some hard knocks critiquing sessions. I know I could use it. Forgive spelling errors I make so many. Also I wanted to know where your poetry is. I tried to find some to read, but there is only one. How about posting some more? Have a Great One! Diana

Hi Clair, yes, it is taking some getting used to, and we are still working our fingers and eyes off getting small changes and bugs worked out. We are looking to see if we can get the authors names added to the poem listings, and also making it easier to navigate. I am afraid, the poetry on the old site will be staying there, long story, but it would takes months to transfer it from one system to the other <IMG SRC="images/forum/smilies/icon_frown.gif">. Hi Mick this is Carmen (lovingangel4u) I got ur letter yesterday about not accepting my poem.. Touch of Passion. I understand why u declined is after reading the rules but how come it was accepted on the old site? That threw me a bit. Still getting use to this site... OH! could be a glich dont know... outsider was on the other night while I was asleep yet someone came on this site with my name he thought I was igorning him... after he sent them a message they left!!!! How can this happen... No one knows my pin and I changed it again yesterday. Not to mention it was 2.30am my time while I was having a sleep
