So long ago I left my passion on this site
Time as with life waits for no moment, it moves on as with the pages of worn out newsprint.
Faded to memories and stories around the fire.
We shine as bright as the stars and act as distant, we are cold to new touch, while praising how open and tolerant you are.
When I first wrote on this site all those years ago I did not see equality as it is now.
I did not see the strength that has been exchanged with victim.
The pander in the name of progress while ignoring the voices of the people you swore to protect.
As if they are children that must be spoken for and not listened to.
I dreamed of a world where one could walk in a spacesuit holding a balloon and he would not be glanced on any different then a colorful dress.
That what others wore, what others did was not the business of yours.
Now we seek to destroy the lives of another person for not sharing the same belief of love and diversity.
When we chant that anyone should have a right to go to war, gay trans straight...
We have lost the love.
Lost the caring that we were building up to but somehow took a wrong corner.
Now we praise color of our skin like we had a choice on what shade it is.
We praise our sex like it is a badge of honor and not something that almost every species comes in.
We want to be free on who we sleep with yet never want to talk about sex, to laugh.
Becoming more prude then the religious of old.
What about the children from the lips of past children who once listened to NWA,
How the world turns, how this site gives me memories of a 30 year old man who lived in a tree.
