The Script
The Everyday Play
Were winners and mourners, all lifelong performers;
Who cant let the dream fade before us; .
Deceivers, believers, and broken dream weavers;
Dance the back row of the chorus.
We were once young and eager; with means sorely meager;
Time passes so quickly you know.
The greasepaint gets thicker; we age and we flicker;
Pandering to the front row.
No one can tell, what goes well, til it sells!
So parade a charade they will follow;
Success is just this; to sell them a myth;
That theyll all pay good money to swallow.
