as delicious in demise,
as it's delicate key lime dawn.

Cranberry relish over streaks of marmalade..
Thick gooey sweetness of all my joy....

Popsicle blue beneath a mulberry syrup,
stretching out to the sugar spackled.. sea dawn sky!!

The perfection of THIS DAY!!
As the surf crashed like liquid cotton.. crystal crushed lemon slush-
It makes my heart smile through the soles of my feet..!

Kissed by the sun,
I drug my way through the (((scalloped }
ridges.. a warming wash of ivory sand.

Strolling at sunset,
I stopped in reverence..
an inner snapshot.. "sniiick-clishhh"
quiet awe..

The twilight furnace and its fierce scalding power
slipping away..
as if it were spitting resistance..

a furious child pulled into the.. stern soothing arms
of the sea.

I am so full...

A'burst with satisfaction!!
Solar kissed, a burnished copper ..
afloat in the colors of your heart and mine~

And to think,
parfait for desert!

A cheeky dry wine..
drizzled on the fruits
of daydream labors;
now far and away gone,
bore in the scoop of my hungry spoon.

No real translation~

No fancy words..

only love..
life..
and you .

The secret chatter and whisperd tumble of the sea..
a'drizzle on my mind;
my thoughts, a smeared cream berry blue
preserved in private infamy..
locked in the smile of my eyes.

Great job!!! Breathtaking (and yummy!!) words and imagery...Love the metaphors you used as well. The style and format were perfect for this piece, and the beginning instantly drew me in...Very well done!!

quite different than most of your poems. i cant say i really liked this, because it didnt have any tragedy in it ::smiles:: this was very creative though, and that kept my attention. a lot of your verses i liked, but there are too many to copy and paste here, so i would say that if this had tragedy in it, i think i would like this much better =]

ok besides the fact that you made me forget my password to log in after reading this :-) I have never in all my life been seduced in this manner(with words I mean) by a day at the beach or an ocean sunset...very sensual descriptions and just the way I like it, sticky sweet! Oooops, did I say that???? well...you know what I mean. Two thumbs wayyyyy up, my friend. Glad you had a good day.

BILLY,
ONLY LOVE...
LIFE..
AND YOU
IS WHAT I ,
LOOK FORWARD TO !!!!!!!
THE EXTRA SPECIAL TIME ON THE BEACHES
ARE ALWAYS LOCKED IN THE SMILES OF YOUR EYES,
WHEN I SEE THEM IN THE MOONLIGHT AND THEN THE SUNLIGHT,
I PRESERVE THE MEMORY FOR THE NEXT TIME WE SPEND ALONE ON THE BEACH
GAZING AT THE STARS AND THEN THE SUN
This poem put me back there,
and that was just an appetizer,
for the full course meal (our life) to come,
I love you and love when you write poems of all kinds but these ones are extra special Thanks
LOVE ALWAYS NANCE
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO
