Blue mountains under a purple sky gather nicely in your eyes
Green tides on copper docksides seem to perpetuate
Where the setting suns shadow on your face resides
As dark turns to light, shade to beauty
And that smile, that smile that would make the Trojans forget their war
I realize now that I love everything about you
From the simple sandals adorned by your feet
Carried now so you can feel the earth between your toes
To the flower resting in your hair
With such nonchalance that your artistry need no symmetry
You remark on the beauty of the sunset
But I could say the same for you
