Faith
Rooted
Profoundly
In God action
In man's history
Refuses to worship
At the altar of the PAST,
But is in fact the contrary,-
Genuine faith is independent

Of this or that historic event,-
True faith is constantly looking
To what the Lord IS doing,
And how God IS acting
On this PRESENT day;
This alone proves
Authentic
And true
Faith

The danger is not that the soul should doubt whether there is any bread,
but lest, by lie, it should persuade itself that it is not hungry.

SIMONE WEIL

“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”

HEBREWS Chapter 11/12

Beautifuily penned my friend. I remember learning that faith is also the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld. Then it lists those of great fatih. Abel, down to our day. Those that have remained faithful, and have faith that all of God's promises will come true!
Many even losing their lives because they were so sure!
I enjoyed this very much ED
Warm love
consue
