This doesn't feel right
This doesn't seem fair
I've waited and waited
For the right moment to arise
But while i'm waiting for this moment
Someone else goes in for the kill
At first you were just a friend
Now it seems i want to be with you
Yet by the way things are going
I'll still be waiting when i go to bed
I doubt these feelings will last
And it seems they'll go away soon
But i don't want them too
The only form of expression
Is through these words that i write
No one will know the extent
Of how much i care for you
But because of these feelings
I'll stay on the sidelines
Johnny Cash's voice echoing in the background
Telling of of his "Hurt"
His words remind me of this
You're unaware of my feelings
And i can only truly express them to you
With the words "I Love You"
