I guess im just scared
scared to admit
that im not strong enough.
Strong enough to look you in the eyes
and spill my heart out or die.
youve been so honest
and i've been so cruel.
youd try to help
and id turn away.
you would reach out
and like a smack in the face
id turn my back.
sticking to my selfish hurtful ways
id make the wrongest biggest decisions
that have left me cold for days.
im insecure and scared
i dont know what im doing.
i know im not good enough
you know your not forgiving.
im not sorry for you
i refuse to get on these weak knees
and beg for sweet mercy and apologize.
im only sorry for myself
and the way i have ever felt about you.
