But I just can’t get the words out,
Everyone says I should tell you,
They say it’s the only thing I can do
But, I know better than to do that,
I know that you will just laugh
Or look at me and talk to me,
Saying that we could never be
I’m like a sister to you
And I know that is true

People say that we should get things done
Because we never know when we’ll be gone
But I say screw that, I don’t care when I die
Right now, I just really don’t want to cry,
Which is what would happen if I told you
How I feel, like everyone says I should do

I rather keep quiet
And really silent,
Not tell you how I feel
So I don’t have to heal
Yet again from a broken heart
Keeping quiet is really smart

Having you call me a sister
Would give my heart a blister,
Knowing that I am just a friend
Will make me want to end,
So, keeping quiet and not telling you,
I don’t have to know all of this to be true

I can just live on, loving you
I think that is what I’ll do
I’m too shy to say how I feel
Too broken to have to, again, heal

I’m here incase you ever want me
But I know that we won’t ever be,
You will never love me back
I know and understand that
(Not really, but that’s what I’ll say)
So, you can have it your way
We’ll just be friends
Until the end,
Never anything more
I’ll just sit here and be sore
I’ll just stay quiet
And remain silent

This is probably one of most favorite poems that I've read. I really like it. You present your side of a story. But, I would also say to tell him. It's best to leave nothing unsaid. But, seeing your side of the story, it would be hard for me to tell you. I'm sure that in time, your wounds will heal, and you will find someone that'll be there to catch you when you fall.
Peace,
Bones
