what's called existence
is a rung on the ladder
of significance

when successes are few and
failures are many
one's value in life is just
less than a penny

have not written a poem in
a very long time
just a jumble of words mixed
in very forced rhyme

on a scale of one to ten
i'm barely a one
overlooked by six billion
a world in motion

pays no attention to me
not fair that i ask
loserboy cannot complete
the easiest task

there are those that are better
esper and nicole
whose intuition rivals
one that is not whole

i've no skill sets like kc
when put to the test
short of looks, cash and smarts
i'm seen as a pest

so this poem comes to an end
and i matter not
a legacy of life in
battles poorly fought [comments] => 4 [counter] => 192 [topic] => 32 [informant] => Jaycee [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 11 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

What a pitiful and unfortunate way to feel about one's self. Especially when there's talent that lies within you.

We are all placed on this earth for a reason. Your reason may not have been shown to you yet, but hang around, you will see that I am right. We are all equal in this world. Never allow yourself to believe someone is better or less than you are. Your inner strength has to keep you holding on until your special reason is needed. Believe in you, always.
