When you see me
And you walk by
I am able to see through you

But when you look at me, what is it that you see?
Nothing?
I feel you look right passed me

You're killing me.

You cannot see that I am real
I am not an illusion or a made up fantasy.
I live, I love, I burn, and I die for you.
I will live forever in your mind
Because to you, I will never be real.

Live, Love, Burn, and Die

If you cut me, do I not bleed?
Do I not breathe?
If you hurt me, do I not cry?

When you speak to me, do I not hear you?
When you see me, do I not look back at you?
When you laugh, do I not smile?

When you hold me, do I not love you?
When I scream, do I not feel fear?
When I lie, do I not feel guilt?

When you see me
And you walk by
I am able to see through you

But when you look at me, what is it that you see?
Nothing?
