affraid of love affraid to live
since i was eight i wanted it to end
pain in my mind hate is my friend
slicing my arms for attention at school
no one cared for this lonely fool
i gaze at the wall i built around my soul
just a black heart with one giant hole
looks dont count good looking people are alone to
if you saw my life you know why im so blue
beaten and touched since the day i was born
thrown in a life that was already torn
feeling so small alone in the night
never a coward would i take my own light
but still i feel dead alone in my tomb
waiting for death to come sing its tune
screaming at darkness alone in the fight
why is this hatred feel so right
i will walk on dont get me wrong
i just listened to a really sad song

very sad indeed written with such conviction. Keep walking as life has its ups and downs and sometimes it seems as though there are more downs than ups there is a shining spot around the bend my friend

I can truly relate... and I think that is what makes a great poem even better.. having a connection between the reader and the poet.. that is a very special bond.
