Screams from his anger cry out through the night as her fallen father bruises and beats out her lights.
A tear not must she shed for the fear of her father making her dred.
Until the day of her death her poor drunken father wont give it a rest.
From the harsh lashes he lays on her chest.
No matter if she pleads for the win, her tattered father wont give in.
For her, his daughter is so full of sin. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 231 [topic] => 13 [informant] => killer_kassie13 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

That's terrible...not your poem...your poem was awesome. I mean its just so terrible how a child's father can hurt them so much when they are suppose to be the people their child trusts and looks up too. If a child cant trust their own father...who can they trust? I''m only 14 but my whole family drinks...except my mom. But my father has never beat me. Gr8 write. Keep it up.

Wow...So much said in such a short poem...This is a truly amazing write. I really feel for you if you were able to write this amazing poem because of experience. But if you didn't then you are even more freaking awesomer at capturing such pain and suffering in so little words. The last line is so powerful and leaves the reader wanting. Again I say, truly amazing.

true lives, unless glorified, are the ones everyone love to ignore. this is a good reminder.
