kiss tonight goodbye
and my dreamless heart means nothing
i shall cast that stone to the aching sky
pray i shatter the night, and let lose the stars
to fall and burn this life away
only then will you understand

Ahhh makes perfect sense to me...sounds like warning someone from falling in love with you...because you're empty of emotion and will only hurt them in the long run...That's what I make of it anyway...*shrug* I really enjoyed this, and your expression was deep for so few lines...LOVE this:

"I shall cast that stone to the aching sky
pray I shatter the night, and let loose the stars
to fall and burn this life away..."

Well done, and welcome back : )

Scorp.
