[bodytext] => He''s in his room alone sitting down reading a book I stand in the doorway hearing the pages turn and I think to myself he must be having some fun and I never say "You know I love you son" (Chorus) I walk away with out a word I never ask him how he''s feeling I leave him there all alone to go do the tasks that aren''t worth doing And I never say " Son you''re always on my heart" How hard is it to ask "Friend how was your day" How many times I throw great moments away by saying he''s too busy or doing my own thing I never say "You''re always on my heart" (Chorus) I walk away with out a word missing the things I should be saying leaving regret within my heart that will end up being a burden cause I never say "You''re always on my heart" (Bridge/Hook) I know now what I need to change and maybe I can rearrange the hurts that I have caused I''ll say the things I need to say and encourage them everyday filling love within their heart (Chorus) I won''t walk away without a word missing the love I should be sharing I''ll kill my regret and turn it to times I give my friends loving uplifting so that they''ll know they''re always on my heart Friend I want you to know, you are always in my heart "I have a lot of people I can put on this list who have been true friends to me and more: Mina, Ghost Moth, Venkat, Ladyfawn, Jenny_K, Linda (I forget her new name) and others in case I left any one out.
