When you left me
I was shattered
I let you slip away
And I didn't know what I had
until it was gone
I feel so cold
like a frozen rose
covered in ice
like my depression and sorrow
it would be a miracle
if I come back
to reality
I am stuck in my dreams
of when we were together
I will lie inside myself for days
just thinking about you
and you don't know how much
I love you
and if I ever told you
you wouldn't care
every time I see you
it kills me
memories of us together
are the happiest moments
in my life
but I will have no more memories
of us together
now it is just a fantasy
and now that is all it will ever be [comments] => 4 [counter] => 200 [topic] => 24 [informant] => Sewntogether [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LoveRemembered )

Very well written emotions. Many let love slip away because they do not realize what it truly means to them. If you can just learn to freeze the tears and pain you will be fine.

All we can really do in situations like this is learn from the experience, and make sure we don't repeat it. If by chance you fall in love again, don't let it slip away.

I really like how you compare yourself to a frozen rose. Just remember that a frozen rose, is still a rose. You're still wonderful no matter what this person thinks of you, and while boyfriends and girlfriends come and go, your worth never decreases, it can only go up.

Keep writing
- Julie

Agree. Some people let love slip away because they think they will never love again, they think they are able to stop love, but there is no way that love could ever stop, there is somebody else that a person likes when two people break up, it always happens, it always does, it is a lesson in life that we must learn, there is always life after love there is always love there for you, you just have to take it, you have to sieze, you have to see it and you have to believe in it. SLipSiX. A very good write.

oh my..
This poem makes me extremely upset
(Which is a good thing)
Because it honestly touched me.
It's exactly how I feel about my ex boyfriend,
And theirs nothing I can do to fix it,
And If I tried, he wouldn't care..
I REALLYY like this poem.
Good job hun,
Keep writing!
