dripping down my cheeks
the drops
that so perfectly match
the deep red ones
both show the pain
and the hate
both so perfect
slowly running down my skin
both so beautiful
putting a grain of something good
something, one thing, beautiful
in my life
that is otherwise
so ugly
so full of hurt

The-brokn-rose. I understand where you are going with this, I cry regular salty tears when I am happy, but if I am depressed, mad, in pain, or sad, I cry tears that feel like blood. Yes the tears stream down my face.

Almost cried tonight, hard to believe, sometimes when I cry, my tears feel as if they bleed, one by one they stream down my face, dry red tears, feel as if they burn, feels like fear. SLipSiX.

I believe that tears are a universal language. When we see them, the hurt shines thru the eyes and the streaks--call to me.

Your poem said so very much. Yes it did.

The simplicity of this poem is striking. In so few words such hurt and release of pain is described perfectly. Excellent write, I wouldn't change a thing.
