Butterflies flying, birds singing to natures tune
Squirrels are playing, jumping from tree to tree
Rabbits are hopping, what a sight to see

Water trickles in creek while fish are splashing
Tadpoles swimming , while small waterfall thrashing
Rock formation gives beauty to flowing creek
Sun shinning on water, forms rainbow so sheik

Owl hoots , to be know he is wise
Bees are buzzing , around their hives
Deer run free with baby fawn
Crickets chirping until dawn

Nature is celebrating its beauty within
As hiker walks through, has a grin
Wind blows trees to bend so swiftly
Fireflies twinkle are so nifty

Such a place I yearn to be
With beauty and peace within me
So off I go to find my true heredity
Within our beautiful Natures Serenity

Being a child of Mother Earth, this piece does truly move me. I believe Nature to be the most creative artist ever. There is no beauty in man's world she cannot do better, more wisely, or stronger. I do love this. Thank you.

Rita

This further proves that you're one of the best nature writers I've ever seen.
There's a serenity and calmness to this poem that I haven't experienced for a while; that's part of its huge appeal.
Keep up the amazing work Cathy :)

Cathy, I hike and I feel you took me on this hike with you. Imagery is great. I could feel the wind. :) Great write. Keep it up.
