Images - my darling’s countenance,

Keep leaping up before me without cease,

Authoritative icons glide and dance

And sometimes touch me like a gentle breeze.

Inestimable these fleet icons are,

That gleam before my mind’s eye all the time,

Superior by far to orb and star,

For they suggest and promise things sublime.

So overwhelming, and yet so discreet,

When I must focus on a mental chore.

They courteously give way, defer - recede,

And afterwards again come to the fore.

O my departed love’s dear images,

That know no boundary, nor time and space,

They gleam and twinkle wity pervasiveness,

Stirred by the merciful Almighty’s grace.

These icons follow me wherever I go,

I promise them I will no longer cry;

But only whisper: “dear I love you so,

And more with every day that passes by;!”.

True images, with power so replete,

Derived from realms of the Present Mood.

Greet from a plane where soul and spirit meet,-

That gateway leading to beatitude.

Sweet pictures faithful, truthful, clear and bright,

That issue from the source of verity,

Priceless you are - of value infinite!-

Dear images! - you are a part of me!. .
