Can you hear the silence, it is all around,
if you really listen, you can hear a sound,
when your all alone, and you think, there is nothing,
if you really listen, you can hear the silence humming,

You cant see the silence, so you think that its not there,
its another of natures invisibles, like the wind and the fresh air

if you really listen, if you really want to hear,
you can hear the world, is whispering, softly in your ear,
do not be lonley, its saying, silently,
you are a child of the universe, you are a part of me. Silence can sometimes be absolutely deafening. This is a great post. Yes, we are all children of the universe.

Sometimes it's nice to just listen to the silence. Your poem is a very soft, comforting poem and I love it. Well done lillyjane!
