She left me without saying goodbye
Don't know what I'm going to do
I know it's not her fault
I blame the ones pulling the strings
Using her as their puppet
If I could break these chains
I'd never let her go from my arms

Empty inside with my heart ripped away
I guess I've finally learned my lesson

Cherish the moment
Nothing lasts forever
Never frown or look down
Enjoy life while you still have it
You never know when it'll end
And don't let anything stand in your way

Straight up depression
On my knees praying to the heavens
Begging for her back in my arms
Seems like life wasn't meant for me
Chained into my cage
Waiting to be free to hold her
But now I have nothing to look forward to
Too much heartbreak can break a person in pieces

Empty inside with my heart ripped away
I guess I've finally learned my lesson

Cherish the moment
Nothing lasts forever
Never frown or look down
Enjoy life while you still have it
You never know when it'll end
And don't let anything stand in your way

Learned my lesson the hard way
Depression's got the best of me again
But at least I've learned my lesson
Nothing lasts forever
Life is fragile hold it tight
Love is fragile hold it tight forever

Cherish the moment
Nothing lasts forever
Never frown or look down
Enjoy life while you still have it
You never know when it'll end
And don't let anything stand in your way [comments] => 4 [counter] => 156 [topic] => 34 [informant] => Bones [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SongLyrics )

A very good poem, I liked it, yes life is very fragile, sometimes things can happen in life, where you realize you are grateful to be alive. SLipSiX.
