Each day revolves around you
Everything I do, I do because of you
I live and I love, all for you
When we are together, nothing can stop us two
Like Romeo and Juliet, we were the perfect pair
But even happiness at it's best must stop somewhere
So I close my eyes and hide this pain
All this love stuff is making me insane
Etched in my head are memories of us
They won't go away because I miss the way it was
And I lay here at night and begin to wonder
Why I couldn't keep our ship from going under
How many times can my heart break
How much torture can one's soul take
Being apart is the root of these problems
I gather my emotions with hopes to stop them
Though feeling abandoned, I'm never alone
I picture you there, beside my throne
So I close my eyes and capture this pain
But it bears too much power and leaves it's stain
Etched in my head are memories of us
I must let them go because it's not how it was
And I lay here at night and begin to wonder
Why you watched our ship slowly go under
What have I done to deserve this curse
My hearts two cars ahead, liscense plate HEARSE
No one can revive it, for it died long ago
The nail in the coffin from the girl I know
Though I say I'll never love again, someday I will
Whether it's you once more or this fatal black pill
So I close my eyes, my body overpowered by pain
My heart, soul, and life now lies there slain
Etched in my head are memories no more
The only thing I remember, is the wrong reason I lived for
And you lay there at night and begin to wonder
Why I stayed aboard as our ship went under
