Array ( [sid] => 104204 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Flame Eternal [time] => 2005-08-22 23:42:18 [hometext] => I suffer from a disease called RSD. It's a progressive neurological disorder that causes intense burning pain 24/7. You can learn more about it at rsdhope.org [bodytext] => This pain is overwhelming,
I can’t handle its persistence.
It permeates the pores of life,
it’s the bane of my existence.

Someone, someone help me please,
this pain has brought me to my knees.
My strength, my will, are fading quick,
this constant pain it makes me sick
to think of dreary days ahead
knowing I’d be better off dead.
All I want is sweet release
from this burning, stabbing beast;
just one day to help me know
the reasons why I loved life so.
Comfort words don’t mean a thing
knowing what each hour brings.
To me it’s only living death
being forced to take each breath
and adding years of agony
to this beast that captured me.

Oh my God. I can't imagine what you're going through.
And I can't imagine theamount of strength you must have to be able to get through each day.

God Bless,
Lizzie

I am so sorry for you pain and extreme discomfort. I do know some of what you are going through. One of my best friends suffered for almost 10 yrs after an almost fatal car accident. Of course the drugs given to help her live with just caused more problems. It is a terrible thing and the pain I cannot even begin to imagine and I did watch her in most severe pain at time. Blessings to you.

Knowing you now for a short period of time and it amazes me how cheerful you are in life after all the things you have been thru and still going thru.
Can only imagine the pain and agony that you have with this desease.
You can bring lots of strenght to others for being such a strong person yourself by pulling thru this like you are. But sometimes we have to look after ourselves first before we can look after others.

Huggsss,

Nats.
