So let the way wind up the hill and down..

still seeking what I sought when I was just a boy-

I like it. The voice is strong, touched by wisdom and hopeful. It resonate a lot with me, as such things as this poem relates are things I strive for as well. Well done, and a fine essay into that ancient and venerable structure the sonnet.

This write, was a write, filled with saddness, yet happiness that is trying to prevail. A journey that is beginning, and will go on for many new paths, that are waiting.! Every time I read your writes, they just take the all. You have so much to offer for a special one. look at it, as many ventures to come.......and to have great out come.!

Very well done Billy. I must say; I'm in love with a good few of these lines...I love how you began this with a pledge of sorts,
and how you ended it with not only a promise, but a wish as well...
Great job with this sonnet : )

Scorp.

Beautiful work, my dear friend. I hope you keep this in your heart as life goes forward. It is like planting a seed and watching it grow to maturity. The seed of self peace and inner serenity. That is what I hope for you. Makes life so much more bearable, even in the hard times.

Love,
Rita
