[bodytext] => It’s a race that starts out even Until the starting gun fires It’s a race based on cheating And usually won by liars The last place guy so trim and fit Runs every leg as hard as he can But it’s a medal he will never seem to get. The race is over powered by men who lie Men who will do anything just to get by They will get what they want Even if in the end it makes her cry The last place guy is so sweet Wants to play with her for keeps He’s the one who tells her she is beautiful It is her that he would never deceit But does anyone ever notice last place? No, their eyes are on the podium Lying, cheating, and unfaithfulness Is what they choose to be their fate So if love is the prize of a foot race The playas will be standing on the podium While the nice guy stumbles in last place.
