Subject: Child Abuse

I close my eyes, wishing it would stop. Sleep is my heaven, real life is not. Nightmares i have, monsters and such, compared to this reality, i couldnt get enough. Now i lay here, finally alone. Praying to god, they would leave me alone.

I close my eyes, wishing it would go away. I tried to block it out, but those images still stay. Nothing i could do could make me forget, yet nothing in this world leaves me anything to regret. There was nothing i could do, yet i still cry this next day, im wishing a little bit of hope goes a long way.

I closed my eyes, but open them again, for now its twelve years later, but i still think about then. I still cry sometimes, but ive gotten past it. No other experience has ever replaced it. Bruises have faded, but the pain remains the same. I know its all over with, and im still sane, but nothing i knew will ever be the same.
